Don’t you just love it when a destination wedding has a touch of simplicity accompanied by a whole lot of elegance? Sadie and Scott’s elegant ‘I Do’s’ at Sandals Grande St Lucian in (you guessed it) St. Lucia made our hearts flutter. With seven guests in attendance, this small and intimate Sandals Real Wedding was the perfect way to solidify an already beautiful romance between this stunning couple.

How He Proposed (as told by Sadie)

“It all started on a Sunday when we finished our backyard patio. I was “in the zone” and ready to keep working on the yard, but Scott was persistent that we get out of the house and go shopping. Besides, he for some reason insisted that I get my nails done a few days earlier and should keep them looking nice. We went to the mall, and after buying me sunglasses, he got a call from his brother saying that our dog was running around the neighborhood loose. Something sounded fishy, she would have had to get through several locked doors to get out! But Scott stayed in character and rushed us home to find our dog.”

“When we got there, he jumped out of the car and ran to the back of the house. Out came our dog, and Scott knelt down to pet her. As I came up, he took the engagement ring out of a pouch on her collar and proposed. I was shocked! As we hugged and kissed, I saw someone in our window. Out came both of our families to congratulate us; another big surprise. They had a whole party set up while we went shopping and took pictures and videos of the proposal. Then, to top it off, Scott reminded me that we both had, for some reason, taken the next day off work in order to continue the celebration. It was all too good to be true!”
