Katrina and Mitzmichael’s Sandals real wedding is a warm and family centered celebration of love!

Happy Real Wedding Wednesday! That’s our latest reason to celebrate a Wednesday and we’re very excited to share this classic and regal real wedding with you. When Mitzmichael moved to Rhode Island and asked a mutual friend to introduce him to other Filipino people in the area, he had no idea one of those people would be his future wife Katrina.

“From the very first glance I knew you would be someone special”, Mitzmichael included in his wedding vows. From these beautiful and elegant real wedding photos, it’s obvious how special they became to each other at a ceremony filled with the love of family and the love for each other.

Katrina’s dress was personally made by popular, Filipino wedding designer Veluz Reyes. After Katrina saw some of Veluz’s dresses on of Veluz Brides blog she knew she HAD to have her dress made by the designer.  “I pretty much stalked her on-line for a while to make my dress,” Katrina joked. It just so happened that the couple was planning a family trip to the Philippines, so Katrina jumped at the chance to meet her dream designer and do a fitting. She walked away with this stunning gown made especially for her!

“I always thought of myself as a very good writer and he topped mine. He never promised me anything before; he would say I don’t want to make promises because I don’t know if I can keep them but his vows were beautiful.”- Katrina.

“We really wanted a destination wedding because we both come from really big families and we wanted something really intimate and family oriented. Our families are very important to the both of us.”- Katrina and Mitzmichael.

And then the party started! Mitzmichael and Katrina and their entire wedding party were such fun and happy people and their wedding reception definitely reflected that.  According to Katrina all of her guests said that this was the best wedding they had ever attended!

“Sandals Negril is a very important part of our lives, we got engaged there, we got married there, we began all the new chapters and important ones in our lives there and we plan to go back for our 5 year anniversary. All of our friends and family were so amazing for taking the time to fly in for our wedding and Sandals Negril and the entire staff made it a more than memorable experience for all of us… we will be back!”.
