“We found a corner of paradise where we made our vows of eternal love and fidelity to each other …”

This Picture of Love found its way to us all the way from Sandals LaSource Grenada of a couple who found their way to Grenada, all the way from Russia! Oksana and Artem, who wanted nothing more than to get married in paradise, were so full of passion and romance that the only wish they had was to be married on the most romantic day of the year, Valentine’s Day.

Although the Russian love-birds speak very little English, they didn’t let that stop them from expressing their gratitude and happiness with their WeddingMoon. They even wrote this letter of gratitude to their wedding planners at Sandals LaSource that was translated for us to share,

“We were preparing for our wedding for a long time, since it is a very important milestone in our life. We wanted to make our wedding special and unforgettable and we found a paradise corner of the Earth, where we made our vows of eternal love and fidelity to each other! This fairytale place is Sandals LaSource, Grenada.

All [of] our dreams have come true and we were the most beautiful couple and first newly weds from Russia. We got married on the most romantic day – the 14th [of] February and we were cheered on by the whole hotel. Now Grenada is our second homeland and our family!

Our huge thanks for [the] warm welcome and attention! We thank everyone who took part in the preparation for our wedding.

In Russia we say ‘this person is like gold’ to give a sense of how much we value them, but, for me Oksana is like platinum with diamonds. So after two years … I asked her to be my wife and to show her that I meant what I said, I gave her a ring of diamonds and platinum. I want to live my life with and for Oksana …
