Dwyane Wade asks long-time girlfriend Gabrielle Union to marry him!

Now, for the perfect way to end 2013 – with a sweet engagement story! As we previously tweeted, Dwyane Wade proposed to long time girlfriend, actress Gabrielle Union over the weekend. The social world was all a buzz after Wade posted a photo of the drop-dead-gorgeous, stunningly huge engagement ring (designed by Jason of Beverly Hills) with the caption, “She said yes!” on his Facebook page.

The story behind the actual proposal gets so much cuter. To propose to Gabrielle, D-Wade enlisted the help of his his two sons, Zion and Ziare and his nephew Dahveon. The little romantic helpers, who visited Beaches Resorts Turks and Caicos with Wade during the summer, surprised Union by holding up three signs. Each boy held up a different sign reading, “Will”, “You” and “Marry” for Gabrielle to read. When the starlet turned around, Wade was down on one knee holding the ring. Awwww!!

On the reason he chose to include his sons and nephew in the proposal, Dwyane Wade said,

     “I planned it. My kids were involved in it. We asked her to marry all of us, not just me. We’re a package deal, so it was cool. They were all happy and excited to be involved.”

Gabrielle happily accepted and the couple is now in the process of setting a date towards officially becoming one big happy family. We wish Dwayne and Gabrielle all the happiness in the world. Congratulations!
