There were so many things about the former Miss USA 2012, Nana Meriwether’s look Monday night at the 2013 Miss USA pageant, that were wedding day perfect, we don’t know where to begin!

We’ll start where every bride starts, with the dress. We did a little digging and found out that designer Sherri Hill was the mastermind behind Nana’s deliciously red gown. The designer is well known for adding a glamorous spin on all of her gowns. While the mermaid gown isn’t exactly a new dress trend,it definitely is a wedding dress favourite of ours. Add the plunging neck line, the textured top and the dramatic tail and we’re swooning all over this dress! While it is fabulous in red, we’d love to see it in off-white or cream.

Complimenting the gown was Nana’s loose waves and very simple jewellery. When your gown is dramatic, adding tons of jewellery over complicates your entire look and Nana definitely got that memo. We’re impressed!

We see this look with an up-do and a birdcage veil for the ceremony in the garden and loose waves with more defined , night-time make up for an evening reception in the grand ballroom at Sandals Whitehouse. Who else sees a definite wedding look here?
