It’s hard to catch a moment to yourself on your wedding day, let alone one with your soon-to-be while everyone buzzes frantically around you. Yet on their wedding day, Bre and her husband Josh were snapped having such a peaceful and serene moment together, it quickly went viral.
This photo shot by Kimberly Burke shows the cute military couple from Lynchburg, VA having a prayer together with the groom carefully placed so he wouldn’t see his bride before their wedding. The couple took the special time out because according to the couple faith is a huge part of their relationship.
“People were rushing about; the wedding coordinator directing people here and there, the photographers snapping photos and the bridal party enjoying each others company. Yet in that moment, in the quietness of our hearts and minds, my husband and I were alone in the presence of our Savior, Jesus Christ,” the couple wrote in their feature in the New York Daily.
We think every bride should have sweet and wonderful moments before their vows like Bre and Josh did. Whether a sneak kiss with your eyes closed or a letter shared before you walk down the aisle, it helps to remind you on such a busy morning, the whole purpose of your wedding – to marry the love of your life. You may even want to try to catch a moment like this one with your wedding photographer.
