Sandals Montego Bay is the only Sandals resort that has a lovely chapel on site?
For all our dear brides who are torn between wanting a traditional wedding in a chapel and a destination wedding you no longer have to choose! As your trusted wedding blogger, I checked it out personally and it is lovely! Your grand bridal entrance begins the moment you walk through the lovely fauna covered arch and into the double doors (how’s that for a statement!). It’s a lovely place to hold a traditional religious ceremony and still have an amazing island styled reception anywhere on property your heart desires.
The Sandals Montego Bay wedding chapel, also known as The Frank Warren Chapel, seats 80 guests comfortably with polished wooden pews, gorgeous rafters and lovely views of the garden from the windows. It was built and funded by Dr. Frank Warren’s widow, who gifted the chapel to Sandals Montego Bay in memory of her late husband. Mrs. Warren hoped that couples who exchanged their vows in this chapel could experience the same eternal love as she has with her husband; how sweet is that??
For those brides who didn’t know, no Sandals resort is like the other; each boasts something different and unique. With 12 locations situated in the most stunning areas of the Caribbean, you can be rest assured that your wedding can be held in a place as unique and dear to your heart as you desire. Of course your trusted wedding planner will walk you through all the lovely places to hold the perfect ceremony and reception but you can always check out our wedding insider tips over here at the Sandals wedding blog!
