For a Slim and Smooth Silhouette
You want:
To slim your entire body down to fit into the fitted Oscar De La Renta-inspired bodice with no surprise folds or dips.

A seamless, one-piece bodysuit undergarment. These undergarments work by holding in your stomach, straightening your back and slimming down your hips and thighs. Body suits are usually made of very breathable fabric and help you keep excellent posture; the better your posture, the slimmer you look. A thigh-length slip or tube may do the trick but for more comfort and better hold, we recommend a pants suit that holds each thigh in individually.
For a Boosted Booty-
You want:
To look like J-Lo in a mermaid dress that you saw somewhere on the red carpet and now it’s the only way you can imagine yourself looking on your wedding day. However, sadly you don’t have her “assets”.

Long line panty house or long line shapers slim your natural thighs and lift your butt giving it a nice boost. If you want a more dramatic boost, say an exact J-Lo, padded undies and butt lifters do exactly that; merchants like feelfoxy specialize in these.
For an Itsy-Bitsy Waist
You want:
An hour glass figure that would put Marilyn Monroe to shame. To achieve this look however, once must have a waistline smaller than one’s hips.

If you have a bit of a minus in the hips department, you can create the illusion of a tiny waist with a corset. A double bonus would be finding a corset bustier that would slim your waist and perk up your girls at the same time. For a less dramatic look, a smooth seamed stich would be enough to slightly pull in your waist and keep your man made curves smooth. However if you want that Jessica Rabbit inspired look, you may want a traditional corset that you can adjust yourself.
For a Flattened Stomach
You want:
A “muffin-top” less wedding day!

While a fully body suit can pretty much do the trick of pulling in your tummy and fixing your posture, it may not be an option for brides wearing a strapless gown. For tummy control without the bulk, high waist briefs made of the same slimming garment “lycra” pulls in your stomach in a discreet way. The high waist (usually right under your chest) prevents an uncomfortable roll down and lets you move freely without worry.
For Perky Twins
You want:
A little lift and separation. Who’s hotter than Madonna in a pointed bra?

You will be in your cleavage enhancing bustier! Seriously, the right bustier can do wonders in offering a fuller cleavage without going over the top. The natural padding in bustiers also take you up a full cup size without actually increasing your cup size; not even David Copperfield can pull that off!
Extra Tips
- Don’t be tempted to buy slimming undergarments a size smaller than you actually wear. The garment is already designed to take you in, buying a smaller size may result in painful red marks, discomfort while wearing or even fainting.
- Make sure your garment is nude to your skin tone or is invisible under your wedding dress. The trick with wearing white it to make it look as if you have no underwear on at all, nude colored garments do that best.
- Don’t wait until the last minute to purchase your undergarments, as soon as you decide on a wedding dress head to a lingerie store and get fitted. If you don’t want to bring your dress with you, take a picture of its style to show to the salesperson. Your garment website or salesperson should be able to direct you towards the proper piece.
Do you dare fake it? We won’t tell if you wont!
