We are head-over-toes in love with this DIY spring nails idea! While a classic French manicure is an elegant choice for your wedding day, if you’re looking for ways to add color and personality to your wedding look, try this colorful spring day look!

What You Need:
- one bottle of background nail polish of your choice (try yellow for a bright pop)
- two to three bottles of different pastel or spring-inspired colors (try pink, teal and lilac!)
- a pack of rounded edge toothpicks
- clear top coat
Step 1- Manicure nails as desired. Make sure your nails are clean and dry. Take the bottle of your background nail polish and apply 1 to 2 coats, ensuring your nails dry completely between applications.
Tip: Using a blow dryer between each coat helps ensures your nails dry smoothly with no smudges.
Step 2- After ensuring nails are dry; use your rounded-edge toothpick to dip the end of the toothpick into one of the colors of your choice. Touch a small dot of color onto your nail and let dry. Repeat this step as many times as you want, interchanging different colors. Make sure you use a clean toothpick for each different polish color. You can choose to do this design on only one nail or all your nails depending on how funky you feel! * For smaller dots, use the more narrow end of the toothpick.
Step 3- After your dotted nails are completely dry, finish with your clear polish to give a glossy smooth finish. Dry and enjoy!
Hot Tip: If you really want to be as colorful as possible, try painting four nails on each hand the same color and the nail of the finger you are going to do another color. For example try using soft pink on all of your fingers except for your ring finger, and use a yellow on your ring finger. Add your different color dots to your ring finger leaving the others plain.
